The following criteria will provide players with an exemption directly into the 2017 MIC. If your qualifications meet any of the criteria listed below, please fill out the Exempt Players Application online and you will be provided with an invitation code to register online.

  • Top 20 from 2016 Monroe Invitational
  • Top 200 Scratch Players World Amateur Ranking (SPWAR)
  • Top 100 "Golfweek/" Amateur Ranking
  • Top 100 "Golfweek" or GolfStat Collegiate Ranking
  • Top 20 Polo AJGA Ranking
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2016 US Amateur Championship
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2016 US Public Links Championship
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2016 US Mid-Amateur Championship
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2016 Western Amateur Championship
  • Top 20 in 2016 NCAA Division I Championship
  • NCAA Division I All American - 1st, 2nd or 3rd team
